If there is one restaurant you must visit in Sevilla, it is Contenedor, a slow food restaurant that was amazingly enough, located next door to our airbnb. The food, ambiance and staff were so excellent that we came here for dinner twice, something I never do when exploring a new city. I'm sure many of you can relate to the feeling of being rushed when dining out – table turning isn't anything new, and personally, it's a game-breaker for me, no matter how good the food is. Here, with this ‘slow cooked’ manner, we were able to truly enjoy our wine, starter, entrees, of course, dessert. There was no one pressuring us in order to clear our table, or my personal favorite, "Are you still working on that?" – as my mom puts it, "I'm not working on anything." There is something truly unique and to be appreciated of local establishments that just "get it" – the art of preparing fresh & local food in an environment that leaves you satisfied. Being that Contendor adapts their menu to offer fresh, seasonal produce of the region, they serve only fifteen or so dishes at a time.
